About This App

This is an educational learning app by Lonely Octopus. It helps users learn AI fundamentals, prompting, AI tools, agents, and related skills through lessons, quizzes, and interactive AI playground exercises. All content and AI-generated responses are provided for educational and informational purposes only.

AI-Generated Output

Some parts of the app use AI to generate responses, feedback, or simulated conversations. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, or inappropriate. You should review and evaluate any AI-generated output before relying on it or sharing it. AI responses do not represent the views, advice, or official position of Lonely Octopus.

Data We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. We store these to identify your account and to print your name on your completion certificate.

As you use the platform, we store your progress through lessons, which lessons you've started and completed, and your quiz answers. This lets us show you where you left off and resume your progress across sessions.

When you use the AI playground, the prompts you type and the AI responses you receive are stored so your notebook history is available when you return to a lesson. We also track how many AI prompts you submit per day to enforce a daily usage limit.

If you choose to submit the end-of-course feedback survey, your responses are stored.

We use Sentry to capture application errors. Error reports may include your user ID and technical context about what you were doing when the error occurred.

AI Playground & Third-Party Providers

Please do not submit confidential, sensitive, personal, or proprietary information into the AI playground. AI features may rely on third-party AI providers to process prompts and generate responses. Lonely Octopus is not responsible for information you choose to submit or for how third-party services process that information.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us at the email below.
